The woman who cut my hair was so friendly and nice. Had been in the shop on her own because of staff sickness/personal needs and was so apologetic. I was made to feel very welcome, drink straight away followed by a chat about what I wanted etc. Got great service and had everyone at work complimenting the cut.
I really enjoyed getting my hair done at Hairways. The staff know what colours work best for you and really listened to how my hair had been previously and how I wanted to change it. I didn't have to wait to be seen and they got started straight away with mixing up the colour. It's the quickest I've ever had a half head of highlights done, and I have a lot of hair!
You just get a rough dry when you book a half-head of highlights but you could probably ask for a blow-dry at an additional charge.
Fantastic haircut and colour (and price) by Keri, a lovely young girl. She did my highlights really close to my roots and the colours look very natural, I asked for half an inch off all over and just to tidy up my layers and that's exactly what she did and the blow dry is one of the best I have ever had. The salon is friendly with a lot of local people coming in and out. They are not at all stuck up and being an independent hairdressers (and not one of the many chains on the high street), you get what you ask for rather than what they are trained to do, which is all the same thing anyway!
I went to hairways and got a half head of blonde foils, blow dry and cut and it was all done very well, the foils look nice and natural and are right up to the roots which is a nice change to other hair dressers that leave a large section at the top of your head not dyed, the stylist I think her name was Mary was great and helped with what colour would look best but also listened to what I wanted in the cut and did not take artistic license and do something I did not want. All over very happy and have had lots of nice compliments, would go again.
