i had a facial with this spa, like everybody said, it was not too easy to find the location as its located in a private house without any sign addressed on the buzz either. however upon making the appointment, they explained it so i was prepared. treatment itself was pretty good, massage technique was great, overall i am satisfied with the experience. however i just didn't like the fact that the therapist continuously trying to sell products to me during the entire treatment. treatment room is bit tiny with all the products & shelves around, however, it is still acceptable for me.
The venue is easy to find and directions were sent by text the day before the treatment(which is a really thoughtful gesture) I enjoyed a very relaxing treament, a facial with a shoulder massage.. The therapist very experienced and knowledgeable and tailored the treatment to my requirements. I have booked another treatment and would recommend to friends.
The lady is setting up her own business and operates from home. The treatment room is small and cluttered with equipments and products but the treatment lounge is very comfortable. This said older people like myself always require a cushion to support the curve of the spine when the head is tilted backward. The treatment lasts 1 hours and was carried out diligently. I would recommend it because the effects although subtle are noticeable after the first session. The therapist is friendly and she cares about what she does which make a difference. The only downfall are that if she books two appointments close to each other she has to let go of you while she goes and answer the doorbell. In addition I am not sure I like to be encouraged to purchase cosmetic as this can feel a little pushy. Finally, I will go back to her as I am happy with the result and this is mostly due to her efforts to do well and these can be quantified.
Had a facial here the other week. Arrived at the address but didn't know which buzzer to press. Had to phone the therapist to let her know that I was outside the property. Was greeted by Cinzia and shown to the treatment room. Room was rather dark and lacked ambience. We engaged in some chit chat, I exchanged some personal details and I was then asked to strip. Rather than leaving the room while I took my clothes off, the therapist remained in the room chatting to me. I found this rather uncomfortable. Rather loud classical music was played in the background while I was having my facial done. The quality of the facial was ok. It was neither good or bad, but certainly good value for money. When the facial was over, Cinzia wanted me to commit to making another appointment with her. I wasn't keen but she insisted the if I booked now that I would get a discount. I continued to make my excuses but she just didn't seem to get the hint. I felt really awkward with her pushyness. Eventually she gave up and I left. Would I come back, probably no.
Therapist texted me details on how to find the venue on the day (which is in her flat) so I didn't get lost. It's a 10 minute walk from the station so quite easy to find. The massage itself was very good. It was my very first stone massage so wasn't sure what to expect. She did talk quite a bit throughout the massage so difficult to relax completely but she's nice enough so I didn't mind too much. I didn't get the hard sell as others have mentioned, maybe because she was very busy that day! I've booked to go back for another massage.
