Techinican tried to charge me an additional £10 for nail art I'd booked & paid for, cut off most of the skin below my right thumb cuticle (& did nothing but heap styptic powder on it - it still looks GNARLY & certainly not disinfecting the area/implements is a public health issue??), and yelled at me when I corrected her inconsistent shaping. The nail art is EXTREMELY uneven and amateurish. Best part was after the bleeding and bad art they still tried to get me to pay the extra £10 - insane!!
The salon is nice and bright, and they have a food range of colours. My main issue is with the staff - they weren’t very friendly, and at points were actually a little rude (when telling me where to sit and asking me to choose a colour). I also had three separate people do my treatment over the course of 45mins, often without speaking to me or addressing the change… All just felt a bit businesslike and not very warm - it was meant to be a treat! Pedi was fine but I won’t be going back.
