For your nails you sit in the thick of it by the stairs and the hair salon. The technician was lovely. The staff warm.
Lovely staff, made me feel comfortable. Wax was good, not painful compared to other waxes I've had before.
Staff and environment were pleasant as usual. Maybe a change of music would be nice. The mood music gets a bit boring. Radio or pop music would be better although I realise for massages the mood music would me more appropriate.
I had a pedicure with gel polish with Ann-Marie. I have issues with moving and sitting in certain positions because of double hip replacements. I explained this and was treated with the utmost kindness and consideration. The pedicure was lovely, very relaxing and comfortable. Ann-Marie removed my old gel polish, trimmed my nails and put new gel polish on. It wasn't easy for her as I wasn't able to sit properly on the couch, she ended up sitting on the floor to complete the job. The room I was in, though small. Was pleasant and there was very nice soft music playing which helped in relaxation.
I would definitely recommend this salon and Ann-Marie in particular. I shall certainly be going again - looking forward to my special treat!
