Jack was great! I had limited time as I was on my lunch break. I rang ahead to check that the appointments were running on time which was very easy to do. The service was very efficient, and after a quick chat I had a wash, a hair treatment (which i paid extra for and made my hair silky soft), and a quick trim. The Treatwell voucher said a luxury head massage was included which I didn't get, but as time was limited so I didn't mind too much. I would recommend this salon and Jack as a stylist.
Nice clean modern salon. My hairdresser was running late so I had to wait about half an hour but was given a drink and biscuits and magazines and wasn't in a rush so that was ok. The hairwash was lovely as was the lady that did it although the massage chair didn't really massage I think I was too short for it and all it really did was push me forward off the seat !
The haircut itself is nice and is what I asked for. My only issue was that my hairdresser while very nice and friendly , lectured me throughout the entire haircut and blow dry about everything from doing my own colour and not using salon shampoo to how often I wash it. She also really tried to sell me the shampoo and conditioner in the salon and offered unsolicited colour advice. It is difficult for me to firmly say no so perhaps I encouraged all this more than I intended to, but it made the whole haircut into quite an awkward ordeal which I just wanted to be over with. I'm actually perfectly happy with my hair colour , imperfect though it is, although I know hair salons don't like you colouring it yourself ( wonder why haha ) I really didn't want to talk about it the whole time to be honest . I wouldn't go back but only for that reason - everything else was good
I thoroughly enjoyed my haircut, have been greeted well and my hairdresser Jack was amazing. Got my haircut spot on and listened to my every needs.
