I did not have a good experience at this salon and probably won't go back. The stylist seemed annoyed and uninterested in her job, the 'luxury head massage' advertised was non-existent and it generally felt like I was being given the bare minimum in terms of service.
Ladies' Haircut & Blow Dry
I had paid in advance for my teenage daughter’s haircut and blow dry and the hairdresser charged me extra for a treatment that she had asked my daughter if she wanted. She is a teenager and didn’t realise that this would be charged for and the hairdresser didn’t say. Wasn’t impressed by this as we had booked through Treatwell and didn’t expect her to be charged more. They shouldn’t be selling to teenagers.
Blow Dry
My blow dry was ok, but I asked for it to be wavy and she only did the ends and they dropped out really quickly. I have regular blow drys and this wasn't great comparatively. Perhaps I should have been more specific though.
Blow Dry
Daughter wanted layers and curtain bangs. Stylist was really reluctant to do layers, apparently they would not look good, but it wasn’t explained why. I had to insist that’s what the daughter wanted so the stylist very reluctantly agreed. We have now left the salon, no layers can be seen at all. She actually looked me in the eye and said ‘here they are’ when I asked!!! There is literally nothing, the hair is all the same length. I feel it was £53 down the drain as it is not what we asked for.
