Great cut and colour. Although when I booked it said in the title it included a luxury head massage which I didn’t receive which was disappointing. Other than that, overall good experience
Haircut wasn’t anything special. Given complimentary tea/coffee with biscuits. Very clean. Got balayage done for the first time (having never dyed my hair before). I showed a picture of what I wanted and was told the stylist couldn’t see the shade of the toner (I could!!). I explained I didn’t want blonde or ginger, and I wanted it to be very subtle balayage, that was more of a chocolate brown shade. She showed me the toner she suggested and I told her that it said ‘ginger blonde’ and I didn’t want it that shade- she assured me that this is fake hair so I shouldn’t take the shade as being accurate. I went with her choice l, as I had explained what I wanted and she was the professional. 5 minutes later I asked her if I could maybe have a darker toner than the one she suggested- she told me that as she’s already put that toner in, she’d have to charge me. After blow drying, it was apparent my hair was ginger. But I went home to see what I thought in natural lighting. It was still a very warm ginger. I rang the salon and the receptionist was very understanding and accommodating and arranged to have me come in the next day to have a darker toner put on, at no extra cost. The second time around, two stylists discussed my needs with me and I think it was finally understand that I wanted something very subtle and brown. I love my hair! So overall, it was a decent experience but obviously I think we all would’ve preferred it to have been smoothly achieved the first time around!
The Treatwell voucher didn’t include the full head balayage (I was told at the salon) which was an extra £16 (approx, and I wasn’t aware of this additional cost) and it also didn’t include the Olaplex-like treatment (which I was aware of).
