Decided to try this venue as my usual one was closed over Easter. I was disappointed with the service, 20min late and the lady cutting my hair stopped twice to talk to other customers coming in the salon.
The cut was very average and I won't be coming back, I will go back to my usual salon.
Really poor experience. The stylist was 25minutes late in starting my appointment. She took very little interest in my hair, just talked about a simple trim, no innovative ideas. The Indian head massage was blink and you'll miss it, I don't think it lasted longer than a minute. The cut is really poor, it's not even, there are long random strands coming through. She did take her time with the blow dry but by this point I was so disgruntled by the whole experience I found it hard to appreciate.
The haircut was really good - I've had lots of comments on it. The hairdresser was also lovely. The only thing that detracted from the experience was the over emphasis on up selling. I found the relaxing nature was reduced by the push for me to purchase some £10 silly tee tree treatment and hair care products.
Head massage was questionable! I had to wait for about 15 minutes to be seen as they were running behind. This wasn't ideal as I had an event to get to- but they made every effort to get me in and out of there ASAP. The guy certainly knew his stuff and was extremely well educated on the products he was using too. Would go again!
