I had a pretty good experience at this salon. The stylist, Caitlin, took a lot of time washing my hair and the chair was a massage chair so I enjoyed that, especially as the stylist was massaging my head as well. I appreciated the deep wash as she shampooed it twice.
Caitlin took the time to listen to what I wanted and I feel like I got what I had hoped for with regards to the cut. However, I thought the blow dry was a little disappointing. I had asked for my joe to be blow dried wavy, but she rough dried it with a hair dryer and then did waves with straighteners and as expected, the waves dropped completely by the time I got home. You can’t beat a blow dried wave done with a hair dryer so it was a bit disappointing that I didn’t get that. There is also a little bit of a sticky residue on my hair which isn’t great.
However, overall I was pleased with the cut and that’s what matters as I got exactly what I wanted. I was just a bit disappointed with the finish. The salon was clean and all of the staff were very friendly and professional.
