After growing all of my bleached hair out due to Covid, I finally took the leap and went back to blonde again so that I could have some fun. The appointment length was longer than the website indicated, but I think I was anticipating that since I have been blonde in the past. I think the toner could have been a bit better because the color is still a bit yellow, but I plan to put semi-permanent colors in so I'm not too bothered.

Should have heeded the warning signs when I asked for a patch test and was met with a puzzled look and a rapid phone call to the boss to ask what to do. Yellow roots, overtoned ends, no offer to correct/reapply, fumbling and patchy clipper technique, choppy cut, and an inexplicably flat blowdry (I asked for more volume and got... a bit of backcombing? On a meant-to-be mohawk??)
I didn't even get shown the back at the end, and by that point I didn't want to look. I downed my milkless tea & left!
