Where to start? Firstly they called, I didn’t answer, so they moved my booking in the system without telling me (I later found out when I got the text). They had double booked me. Good start. Arrived, went in, the people behind the desk were too busy gossiping to notice me, when they did they just said sit down and continued to gossip.
The waxer invited me in the room, got all ready and then she came back in. It was the most painful wax I’ve had, I’ve been to 5 different studios and had different type of waxes done but none have been this bad! She didn’t stretch my skin at all, and didn’t ask me to stretch it either which I thought was weird as every single time I’ve got a wax, no matter the place they always have.
She talked about running late and how her next appointment was already there so we would just have to do this quickly... thanks!
I was wincing in pain at one point, and she didn’t even pause she just kept putting the strip on and pulling it off! Not giving me a second to breathe through her painful technique.
The actual wax itself was.... ok she missed lots of little hairs that I then had to go over and wax/ tweeze out myself. But I’m not surprised by that because she didn’t check or go in with tweezers, as all my other waxers have done!
I came out and the waxed area hurt for around 24 hours (I’ve had “bad waxes before but even then the pain only lasted 1 hour). Overall I will never re visit this waxer, and will happily travel an hour to my old waxer for my next! Told my friends about the experience and to avoid!

The team was friendly and the body wrap was great. It was warm and relaxing with the wrap on and I am impressed with how much better I feel. Lost a few inches and I felt revitalised by the end. I’ll definitely go again!
