I go every week to H&G Hairdressers, and I am very happy with the service I receive. H&G provide an excellent service, very pleasant atmosphere, lovely ambience, spotlessly clean and great value for money. They make you more than welcome. On arrival, they offer you tea, coffee. Last but not least, the staff treat you with respect. Nothing is any trouble to them. Helen the owner is lovely inside and out, and so are all her staff.
Had a 10am appointment. The beautician was late, didn't give an estimated time of how late she would be. I waited 35 mins with no explanation other than "she's on her way" and after the first phone call from the receptionist asking where she was she didn't answer the phone thereafter so I had no idea what time she'd arrive. I left when I realised they would still need to set up and warm the wax when they arrive so a 20 min appointment would turn into over an hour.
The receptionist was very apologetic but had no clue that the problem is not someone being late but managing that by finding out exactly where they are and what time they would get there so that customers can either rearrange their schedule to accommodate a late appointment or find an alternative in that time.
Another customer came in whilst I was waiting also saying she is always made to wait approx half hour. She left too after waiting 15 mins too. Not a way i expect someone to run a business.
I will be seeking a refund for the money I paid in advance via treatwell
Excellent service. Everyone was really friendly. I've been complimented on my nails many times after and nail polish lasted more than two weeks. Highly recommended!
