The massage was excellent. The conditions of the hotel were not and was quite disheartening when we arrived. We travelled for 1hr40mins to stay somewhere nice for the weekend. When we arrived it was an anti climax. The hotel was standard. The "excellent dining views" looked out onto a main road! Food was excellent mind you! The room where we waited for a massage was dirty ,had taped together carpets and cheap looking decor. Not what you would expect from a hilton! The room we booked was the top priced room and at £85 was again very standard although clean. . Staff were lovely and helpful but it felt a waste of money from previous spas we have stayed in. Wouldn't recommend.
Could have had cleaner and drier changing rooms but on the whole clean and tidy. could do with more beds around the pool.
We had an amazing overnight stay. Hotel is lovely. The dinner buffet isn't great, but they offer an a la carte menu, that isn't that much more.
Was a great weekend I have only rated low on the pool and sauna as we had to travel to a different hotel in order to use theirs as the one at our hotel was closed for 24 hours due to a child having an accident so wasn't the hotels fault. This hotel is very different to the Hilton reading more family friendly and has a older client base so is great for families and the older generation. Great stay staff our great overall fantastic weekend.
Upgraded our room for free which was a lovely surprise. Comfy rooms, food was great and our treatments were so relaxing. Would definitely recommend this deal to others.
