Communication was a big issue and put me a bit off even before arriving. My appointment was at 4.40 and I have received several reminder by email. 2 hours prior my appointment they called and asked me to me 1 hour earlier. I said I could have tried to get there 15min early. I got there and the beautician and the manager told me i was late (4.20) we had to speed up because she had other appointments, she was in a rush. She could not understand what I paid for. Total miscommunication.
My lash tech was 45 minutes late. When she turned up she smelled like cigarettes and was chewing gum through the whole treatment so the experience wasn’t great considering I was under her nose for 2 hours. The past two days I’ve experienced serious irritation from the glue.
I was offered a £5 discount off my next visit to compensate and the lashes were great, but I wouldn’t come back and risk 2 uncomfortable hours, an extra hour waiting time and enduring 2 days of irritation to save a fiver.
