My experience was lovely. I felt very relaxed in the non-intimidating venue and banter flowed naturally. She was informative and made me feel comfortable.
I applaud the business savvy of these young girls and wish them continued success.
My partner bought me a voucher from wowcher for eye lash extensions, I was told that I was booked for half an hour but it should have been for 45 mins so that was what she was going to give me, I thought that was very honest of her However I came out of the Salon with very few eyelashes but did not complain as the girl that was applying the lashes had been complaining all through my session that she was hungry and had not had a break all day and stated that if she did not get something to eat soon she would be in a very bad mood.
I assumed I would have full eyelashes and was not asked how I would like them whether thick thin long or short. Also at the end of my application some of the lashes were pointing in the wrong direction pointing downwards, I pointed this out to the girl ( who should have noticed this herself ) who promptly took a pair of tweezers and yanked them out (and didn't replace) which was very painful.
I was so unhappy and unsatisfied by my eyelashes that I booked a refill in for 2 weeks later with the hope that I could fill them up to how I wanted them I also paid £5 deposit, but after a week and most of the left eyelashes had fallen out I decided that I was not going to return and decided that they could keep my deposit. I didn't turn up and no body called to ask why. I had to go to work with hardly any eyelashes on one eye which was highly embarrassing. In the end I phoned around and went to a Salon I googled off the net. I was told that my lashes should never have fallen off so quickly and that you shouldn't get your eyelashes wet for hours ...NOT two days as HMB state...I had a half an hour session and the girl was fantastic I left there with luscious lashes feeling how I should have felt leaving HMB
I do not really like to leave bad reviews but I feel that HMB need to sort themselves out as I would have loved to return but the service was not good. What should have been a pleasurable experience for me, was not.
Would I recommend them?...probably not
Just because we have paid a discount price does not mean we deserve discount service. If that is how you feel then you should not offer the deal.
Very swift service. The hairdresser was very friendly and polite. She was also very accommodating to my needs. Had a consultation for hair extensions and then received application on the same day. Was very appreciative and happy, because I had time constraints.. Overall, great service and I would recommend it to my friends or anyone thinking of getting hair extensions. Very happy with the results.
The place needs serious attention. A beauty salon must radiate beauty. This one radiates tattiness, tiredness and lack of care. Too bad, because the staff are friendly and seem to know what they are doing. But as long as the place remains in this condition avoid if your aim is to be pampered. No here.
