Salon looks very nice when you walk in and staff at the front are very friendly. The girl who shampooed my hair (red head who's name I don't remember...sorry!) was lovely and very chatty. Would have rated 5 stars for staff based on this but had to dock two because I found my hairdresser slightly awkward :/ Marco gave decent blow dry but was practically mute throughout my whole visit and I also felt like his cutting technique was very basic and quite blunt. I would have liked a softer cut like I had asked (cutting into the hair vertically instead of straight across). My hair looked good when I left the salon but it barely lasted an hour. Not disastrous but I wont be back.
Debbie is just lovely. Attention to detail in the colour and cut. And it feels like a family business.
I had a wash and blow dry at this salon, which was very good. The only disappointment was their members of staff... not only they were so inappropriately discussing my hair and making comments about how long my hair was and that my ends were rather dry...while the main hairdresser was blow drying my hair, her assistants were standing next to her and literary starring at how she was doing it. Next time, just ask the client if they mind it or not, and do not discuss your clients' hair. It's just so unprofessional and purely bad practice.
Fabio gave me a great haircut and was attentive to the brief. He was friendly and I would return for another cut.
The salon is clean and modern with a nice atmosphere to it. The staff at the reception desk were nice and friendly and I was offered a drink whilst I got my haircut. The booking was supposed to be for an hour with a senior stylist but it felt a little bit rushed and was over within 30 minutes - I'm not sure if this was because he wasn't as interested because I had booked through treatwell (and therefore received a lower price) or if this was normal. However - I am very happy with my haircut and the stylist paid attention to what I had asked for and was very experienced and knew what they were doing. I would definitely go back here because it was the first time in ages that I left happy with how my hair turned out!
