After a not so great experience first time I went, decided to give the place another try. I shouldn’t have bothered.
Yes some of the staff are friendly...however straight off the mark I got asked if I had my nails done in their place, when I said no the staff member went on to ask if a boy had done them as they were very flat...that the ‘chinese’ boys tend to do nails like that. I found this very unprofessional and a bit offensive...this was not the case anyway and to be fair the whole point of a nail extension and infill is to enhance your natural nails and look as natural as possible.
I went for a marble effect to which an attempt was made with the use of a sharpie pen....and some sort of liquid to smudge the black ink! Tricks of the trade....this didn’t work. I’m not that fussy so changed to a plain colour which didn’t bother me at all.
When I got home and out into proper daylight only then did I see the horror of what I had been left with...the thickest chunkiest looking nails I’ve ever had done!
I’d rather have thin ‘flat’ extensions any day of the week over what I’ve been left with.
I’ve managed to file the nails down and reshape them at home to make them look presentable until I can get booked in elsewhere for a removal.
Would I return, unfortunately no, not even to remove them!
