If I had to sum up my treatment it would be unconventional technique, not wholly relaxing and although not painful or unpleasant, and my skin felt really soft afterwards, it's not something which I would recommend or repeat.
The Therapist was polite but uncommunicative, and my treatment was more vigorous than relaxing; the room hadn't been prepped and was really cold; the treatment bed - an old style trestle table type, lightly padded wooden table, with no cutout for your head/face - was hard, creaky and uncomfortable; I wasn't asked if I was warm enough or if I was comfortable - did I need a towel under my knees to support my back just as an example, and throughout my treatment I could hear noises from the front of the salon which made it even harder to relax. I also realised about 1hr after leaving the salon, when I was on the train, that the face mask which had been used, hadn't been removed fully, as I still had some remnants in my hairline - not a great look.
All in all, the salon lacked any kind of warm, welcoming ambience, and after my treatment, I was treated like a stranger. No body was rude, but it's the little touches that make the experience. I'm really sorry to say I was left feeling quite disappointed about the whole experience. You could argue that it's a small local rural salon, but I don't think this is an excuse really.
The spray tan was good and quick but the room was just too cold, considering you were expected to disrobe then wait 5-10 mins for it to dry before getting dressed.
Just b4 she started spraying, the Tanner went out to wipe her hands and inadvertently left the door ajar - which made me very uncomfortable
although the girl was good, and the technique correct, the product was so harsh and dry, perhaps it needed more moisture mixed with it . At some points it was uncomfortable against my sin & a bit painful on my thighs, stomach & back, alternatively I may just have been oversensitive.
