Had gone to purchase a groupon, but agreed to pay directly. When I arrived, was told wasn’t valid (despite not being in the groupon small print) and tried to charge more. Second negative experience at this salon - previously went in for a pedicure and manicure and it took 3 hours and was average / below par quality. Would not recommend - prefer to pay more for a better service / surroundings.
Very efficient booking process, with both email confirmation and text reminder on the day.... However when I arrived for my appointment I was left waiting for 15 mins and then told that my booking was not on the system. The only member of staff there then took on my treatment - full body massage. There were no questions about any 'problem' areas or what I would like her to focus on. When asked if the pressure was OK I asked for firmer, as the therapist was very 'soft touch'. The pressure didn't change so I felt no muscular benefit from the massage. Did not help my knotted shoulders or my tight calves. Friendly but not sure how qualified my therapist was.
The treatments I had where excellent the facial was very relaxing and left my skin feeling very soft. The massage I had was also relaxing and helped to relieve some tension. But the experience was ruined by the treatment room being very cold the rest of the building was well heated ( very warm) the floor was like ice on my feet and when my treatment was finished I rushed to get dressed as I was very cold from being in the room with a blanket over me for 1 and a half hours. I'm afraid this has put me off from returning here
