The staff were very friendly, I had a relaxing massage in a calm peaceful setting.
The salon is a fair size & well equipped. The treatment rooms are very tranquil with lovely relaxing music & you cannot hear the world outside (which was lovely). We turned up well within the appointment time & treatment was started later than scheduled. We were both given standard massages rather than the hot stone massages we booked for ( & was both really looking forward too). The treatment finished & I checked the time (this being 30 minutes rather than the 45 minutes booked). Once we got changed we mentioned the fact that we booked hot stone massages & the lady said “oh really”, well you had more time with this massage (baring in mind the 2 email reminders I received both stated the hot stone massage), I said well actually the massages were only 30 minutes, she said “no we came in the room at 20 past the hour, when in fact it was half past the hour & they were finished on the hour (therefore being 30 minutes), she said she would give us a discount off any further treatments.
This isn’t really what we wanted.
Would have been nice to be greeted on arrival rather than left for 20 mins. The room was also cold, would have been nicer and more comfortable if it was warmer
