Lek was friendly, professional and the pressure was perfect. I hold knots mainly in my shoulders and neck and she sorted them out. A bit sore the day after (naturally) but since today I really do feel a lot more relaxed.
My partner and I went to Hot Stone Spa for a couples massage. We found the massage table itself uncomfortable - the head rests were too small and squeezed our faces. My massage was quite hard and I felt the masseuse focusing a lot on my rib bones and spine rather than on the muscles themselves. My partner and I were both sore the next day. We should have spoken up and said that the massage was too rough at the time, so we can't blame the masseuses entirely, but we would also recommend that they check in with customers more proactively to be sure the treatment is comfortable.
Fantastic Swedish massage with Ana Mei. She really listened to my problem areas and worked with them. I felt so much better after.
