I've just returned from a fabulous day at Overstone Spa. I always go here for my beauty treatments as they do the best back massages in Northamptonshire (and I have tried a lot!). I tried the Urban Escape Spa Day as got a brilliant discount through Treatwell and this allowed me to have a 30 min back massage (bliss!), 30 min facial (very relaxing), a nail file and polish (very basic but all I wanted) and access to the gym and swimming pool area. All of the staff were very friendly and welcoming (particularly in the beauty salon and the bar) but my only criticism of the entire day was the relative rudeness of the gym staff member that I spoke to. Although they did help me with the equipment that I had asked about, I had a sense that I was getting in the way - he didn't even smile or greet me. Otherwise, a lovely easy day and I will be back very soon.

I had a spa day package for Overstone, spa day is a joke!
For starters when I arrived I was told I had a two hour wait for my treatments which would be fine if I had had something to do. I couldn't use the swimming pool as there was an aqua class, if I could of used it they didn't provide towels, the beautician was rude when I asked about this suggesting I use the bath robe provided which incidentally i could only wear when I was in the pool or tiny spa area. I couldn't use the gym so only option was to sit in the bar area and wait, this is not my idea of a spa day, When I left explaining to the reception staff the situation they didn't seem interested. I would avoid this place at all costs total waist of money, false advertising calling it a spa day!!

A few years ago, my favourite salon closed its doors and the masseuse that did the best massages in the world (in my humble opinion) was no longer an option. I have spent several years seeking a venue that has the same balance of excellent service and treatments in an ambient setting. Finally, I have found it!!
Firstly, the setting of Overstone Spa is a treat, part of a luxurious, tranquil private golf club. The staff are highly attentive and genuinely listen to customer needs and requirements. Then, there was the treatment. I cannot recommend highly enough the Monu Deep Cleansing Back Blitz - it just seemed to go on forever, with every inch of my back getting treated to a blissful combination of warm and hot, firm and gentle pressure as well as the various applications and, to top it off, a relaxing head massage. And I had one of the £10 vouchers that regularly appear in my inbox from Wahanda. The treatment made my day and I will now become a regular customer :)

really relaxing day.my body needed a break,Treatments were very professional. I had a full body massage which was adapted for me as i had hurt my lower back.Staff were really friendly,would come again.If i really have to say a negative comment it was that they hadnt got the nail polish i had chosen.

Body massage was upgraded but cut short by 15 minutes but overall the experience was good.
Location and facilities were clean and good value for money. Salmon salad Lunch was good....
Would go again for the experience....
