The resort is very nice but the spa area looks like an afterthought,as if someone wondered how they could utilise the understairs storage area.
I did not get good value for money. On booking the appointment it would have been nice if suggestions were made as to how I could get the most from my 'spa day'.
My facial and massage was out of this world. Emma was very professional and the treatment room was lovely. The 1hour 30mins spent for my treatments was a dream and I'll be back for another facial.
The facilities though were not as expected. The whirlpool smelled of bleach and had a very annoying 6 minutes on, 6 minutes off feature. Just as I got comfortable a water aerobics class started which was fun to watch but loud and killed my vibe.
the changing room was basic, the hairdryers were not working and out of the 6 showers only one had hot water.
Plus, the plant room was very close to the massage treatment room and at one point my blissful peace was interrupted by the handyman shouting outside the door.
I cant repeat it enough - the facial was heavenly - shame the same did not apply for the facilities upstairs.
