Overall seemed more organised with a new manager in place, I think the hotel is on the up!
New staff very friendly and thoughtful.
Pedicure would be more relaxing if you didn't have to use a basin on the floor for removing foot scrub.

Enjoyable day had by all 8 of us, helped by the sun coming out.
Toni the beauty manager made our day with her professional treatments.
Luke the bar manager looked after us too.
Overall a very enjoyable experience
If you want a full spa experience with a pool this is not for you - they only have a sauna and that is no-where near the showers. Changing room is full of cobwebs - avoiding spiders is not my idea of relaxation! We booked the prosecco afternoon tea and had to prove this to the bar staff who clearly thought we were lying to upgrade from a hot drink to a fizzy one! We did try to go to the bar before our afternoon tea time to buy a drink and were told to sit down as someone would come and take our order - no-one did. The treatment itself was good but the rest was a let down - will not be returning!

When we booked we was told that we could not have a treatment together as you had a member of staff that had left and that the manager was to busy so we have to take our treatments in turn
we got changed and i felt uncomfortable walking down guest corridors in slippers and a robe would you !!! in the general public areas ?
we then found the relaxation room and every thing was fine until we was left in there alone finished our treatments we was walking through the hotel again with the general public passing us which was embarrassing and made us feel very uneasy, finally we was then sat in the relaxation room and we waited for 35 minutes and no one came for us so we decided to stop a cleaner and ask what we was to do , we was shown the way back to the changing room where my friend slipped as the floor had been cleaned with no wet floor sign displayed the cleaner apologised it was like an ice skating rink
we then changed into our swimming costumes waited in the sauna for 20 minutes and it was not switched on finally we decided to just get changed and go for what was suppose to be afternoon tea sparkling that was not sparkling ! and the receptionist changed our time for lunch without informing us
This break was not relaxing in fact i did more arguing and chasing about with people than i do within my own business
we will not be returning and verbal recommendations is the best form of marketing and this experience was terrible
