Pros - great massage, tasty afternoon tea and prosecco
Cons - spa facilities meant one sauna, decor outdated, no locker keys so had to leave valuables at reception
Value for money - we'd bought an afternoon tea with prosecco and one treatment spa day on wowcher at £30pp so good value - at full price I would have been disappointed
The lady who did my treatment was lovely and the treatment itself was excellent.
The treatment room itself was ok, nothing special, and although a blind was up, the natural light still came in. The cud playing was also very jumpy.
I did not think the set up of the spa was very good, the relaxation room was a disappointment and I did really e over somewhere cosy with relaxing music, cushions, loungers (perhaps I've been too spoilt at other spas).
Apart from this there was a sauna which I could not use as I am pregnant so my spa experience was my treatment and a room that was very much like a waiting area.
The afternoon tea itself was ok. I wasn't asked if I had any allergies or told what sandwiches would be served. In fact, as I am pregnant, this question shoukd really have been asked. The cakes were nice, however the staff were not very attentive and didn't ask me once if everything was ok.
Overall it was nice to have some time to myself, however it was slightly disappointing.
