Steph usually provides my facials, but this time it was Narinda( think that was her name) and can honestly say the worse I've ever experienced. She was so heavy handed and rushed, it was supposed to be a 1hr facial, I was in & out within 30 mins, with my face so sore, it was red and felt hot for a good hour after I had left. A shampoo at my hair dressers is more relaxing than the head massage she gave me. More stressed when I left than when I arrived. I really don't like to complain, but it was shocking!!

Unfortunately our arrival was spoiled somewhat due to Trainee Staff on the hotel reception but she did try her best she just was not uptodate on the procedure. The Cleaner steped in to get our gowns slippers and eventually towels. We arrived to use the gym and sauna before our treatments the gym was fine but the sauna setup was somewhat straange no shower????
The relaxation room was spot-on no complaints whatsoever and the treatments were excellent I will be returning due to the fact that Steph was very good and the necessary massage I require.
So in conclusion arrival needs addressing a proper meet and greet would be great and the sauna area needs a shower never been to anywhere else where a shower is not provided. Spa Staff Spa treatments and value for money due to our Travelzoo deal EXCELLENT.

A brilliant overnight stay and excellent value for money with lively food too and excellent room facilities. I was disappointed with the 'spa facilities' as there was only a sauna? Not really spa facilities so that was not great. But everything else was brilliant and I like the look of the day offer too and considering booking for my mum as a treat for Mother's Day. So yes I have been recommending to people but don't think you can advertise with spa facilities with there been no pool, steak room or jacuzzi
Fantastic food and room although shower not very powerful. Great hotel for business but not for couples looking for a spa weekend. The sauna was new & clean but DRY!! no shower next to it? I would visit the hotel every month as I live in Hull if it had wet facilities, steam room & bubble pool etc. The other treatments are very good we both had an excellent massage, although you have to insist on your 25 mins massage time(take a watch) Don't want to fill out forms just get on with the massage! My wife got just under 20mins actual massage as she is rubbish at forms! Bar meals for lunch is limited & very expensive best to book Sunday dinner 2for1. Evening meal **FANTASTIC WOW** Best French food in Hull and excellent service. Also excellent breakfast although the juices were a bit strange! This could be the best hotel in Hull but sort the SPA and showers out please. Mr & Mrs Smith.
