We came for an afternoon tea package, with two treatments each. The manicures were rushed, and translated into a file & polish on the day vs. a manicure that should have been 20 minutes. My friend has been suffering with a sore shoulder since the neck, shoulder & back massage. There was no direction, or mention of the other facilities that were available, such as the sauna. The changing rooms are cramped, with little room for more than two people at a time, and insufficient space to put bags whilst showering/getting dressed. I'm afraid I would not recommend the treatments to friends, however the afternoon tea saved the day.
Fantastic value for money and lovely for a treat. Only downside was there was some hotel maintenance in the area aswell as room cleaners which did cause a little bit of disruption however as the treatment was that relaxing it didn't take long to zone out the sound.
I don’t know how it can be called a spa, there is no pool, jacuzzi or steam room. The only leisure facilities are a tiny gym and sauna. We both had a 50 minute treatment, the lady was very nice but it definitely wasn’t the best massage I have ever had. The hotel website description “the Hallmark Hull has the Wow factor with it's 17 acres of grounds” WHAT!! Behind the hotel is a muddy field, there is no wow factor to a muddy field.
Absolute love the treatments here and they are Elemis!
All the girls are wonderful at there jobs!
It's a lovely hotel in a lovely location could just do with pool or jacuzzi
