I came for afternoon tea and two treatments. unfortunately the staff wetnt expecting us, despite seeing that we were clearly booked in when they looked. therefore we had to sit at a table with someone dirty pots. as this was cleared, 're staff were helpful, and brought afternoon tea. the afternoon tea was rather disappointing. the bread was rather hard and dry on two of my sandwiches and, whilst recognising this is pedantic, the sandwiches were all cut to different sizes. In my view this highlighted a lack of care. Our treatments were then 20 minutes late. The staff were very polite and helpful when we twice enquired as to whether we were in the right place, but unfortunately each time this required us to go and search for staff to find this out. we were just left waiting half an hour without anyone coming to help us. Nonetheless, the treatments were very nice. Once having these I felt very looked after and enjoyed them. Had it not been for going with an old friend and enjoying her company so much, I would have come away feeling rather disappointed. What a shame on a day we were both looking forward to so much
