With 29 years of hairdressing under my belt, I started out in North Warwickshire in a small, family run salon where my passion started to build for hair. Once I qualified, I headed for London for bigger things. Colour is my ultimate passion and I love creating personalised looks for everyone. I decided to take on the L’oreal Colour Specialist Degree (one of my biggest achievements) and have not looked back. I was also given the chance to work behind the scenes with the BBC on According to Bex! Once I had the degree, I went to work in Leamington and was lucky enough to work for Achille. Having gained more knowledge, I then decided to work in Birmingham. I am super proud to have been working for Hush for 12 years now, where my clients allow me to be as creative as I want. Having done some familiar faces at Hush Belinda Carlisle, Aljaz (Strictly), Mark Shaw (then Jerico) this has been a great experience to work alongside these people. I love making my clients look and feel fantastic!!!

About Me I’ve been part of the hair industry since I was 16, and with over 11 years of experience, I’ve grown in skill, confidence, and creativity. Throughout my career, I’ve stayed committed to ongoing education, always exploring new trends, techniques, and colour innovations so I can offer the best possible results for my clients. I specialise in balayage and hair extensions, two areas where my passion truly comes to life. I offer a full range of extension methods including tape extensions, weft extensions, and nano & micro bead extensions, allowing me to tailor every transformation to each individual client. My dedication to my craft has been recognised nationally. In 2024, I placed in the Top 5 for Best Balayage in the country, and in 2023, I earned a diploma in Hair Extension Education, further strengthening my expertise. At the heart of what I do is a genuine desire to help women feel empowered, confident, and beautiful—no matter what stage of life they’re in. Whether someone is going through their lowest lows or their highest highs, I want my salon chair to be a place where they feel understood, supported, and uplifted. I’m not just a stylist; I’m a listener, a storyteller, and yes, an enthusiastic over-sharer who loves a good gossip. Every appointment is more than a service—it’s a connection, and I’m grateful for every person who chooses to sit in my chair.

HUSH employs only the best hairdressers and salon assistants. This top salon in Birmingham was established by owner James Holmes in 2006 to give customers a high quality, rejuvenating hairdressing experience.
We seized the opportunity during Lockdown 2.0 to open our brand new Brindley Place super-salon set in a Victorian mansion. Both our Stephenson Street and Frederick Street teams relocated to this fantastic salon which has masses of space and a stunning interior
