We really enjoyed the fire and ice spa day, there are several different rooms, aromatherapy steam room, sauna, mineral room and a hydro therapy pool whihc was lovely, however the only thing i felt was missing was an actual swimming pool as the hyrdo pool got quite busy. Treatment wise we had a searail mud treatment which was good, and i would recommend, and then a raindrop massage, which was very relaxing, and a pedicure - all were really enjoyable and i would recommend. The staff were lovely, very friendly and professional. The only disappointments we had was that there were a couple of special offers advertised in the relaxation room, however when we requested them they were no longer available however the advertising hadnt been removed. Also in the restaurant we had afternoon tea, which we ordered with champagne, however that didnt come, but we werent offered tea of coffee instead, there were no plates delivered with the afternoon tea, and despite asking we still didnt get any. The afternoon tea itself was average, and not really worth it.

Great experience our host was great, other staff ie. Restaurant staff were a little obnoxious, n hovered while we ate, so we felt a bit rushed, massage was brilliant, our host should be promoted she was very informal and happy to assist any queries we had :-) thank you

Took my boyfriend for a spa day here. We spent 4 hours here. I thought thr jacuzzi was a swimming pool its so big. Loved the salt chamber, steam room and sauna. Huge, powerful showes and everywhere clean and glamorous. Free herbal teas and chill out area too. Highly recommended.

Lovely little spa, great bubble pool, sauna, steam room. Quiet in the morning and very chilled out - but got a lot busier in the afternoon - not enough loungers to go around and seemed a little crowded, noisy. Gorgeous relaxation room/area upstairs, shame you couldn't order lunch/coffees and eat there. Bit odd going to hotel bar/restaurant in robes and no decent tables to eat at - all comfy sofas/low tables! Also - pricey food & drink - but nice, though not brilliant choice for spa day, more healthy/snack options might be better. Staff all great, friendly, helpful. The raindrop massage was very good. No natural daylight in spa - shame, gorgeous day, would have been lovely to see the sun and maybe get out in it on some decking/beds in the grounds. All in all a very nice day, seems like a bargain for 2 people, but by the time you add lunch/coffees (£3.50 for a cappuccino / £4.50 for a mocha?!) and extra treatments in to the original price - they do mount up a bit.

On the whole, the spa was a pleasant experience and we would repeat it. Although it couldn't be helped that the steam room was out of action, we were a little surprised that extras were not provided to compensate for this. The relaxation area was nice but it would have been good if there were a few simple free snacks available aside from just herbal tea. The aqua massage that was included in the offer was a little disappointing. The only food available was very pricey.
