I visited this spa with my partner and wasn't overwhelmed by the facilities. The receptionist gave us our towels and showed us the way to the changing rooms and told us we would be given a tour once we had changed. After changing and waiting outside, no staff showed up. Navigating our own way to the spa, we could see a few rooms and algae in the main pool. All the relaxer beds were torn at the bottom, making it quite uncomfortable to lie straight. However, the sauna and steam room were clean and relaxing. The changing rooms were clean and had nice showers, however inside the ladies toilets, I found blood on the toilet roll, suggesting regular checks are needed.
I would only recommend this spa if you are staying in the hotel and need a quick relaxation.
Whilst this spa is very nice aesthetically, I wasn't impressed by the treatments at all and felt somewhat disappointed. The complimentary 15 minute massage wasn't what I expected at all. I thought this would be carried out by a member of staff and it was instead a strange water bed with jets which you lay on for 15 minutes. This is explained in the small print which I failed to notice - my fault. My poor friend booked to extend her massage to 30 minutes under the same illusion of a professional carrying out the massage. I booked to have an all over luxury body exfoliation, this was far from luxurious. The therapist who carried out the treatment was clearly ill and no effort was put into the treatment at all.
Overall, the spa is nice and facilities are lovely but don't expect too much from your treatments!
The spa was lovely and relaxing and the staff were friendly and polite, but the place itself was a lot further out from the terminal than we expected and ended up paying an extra £9 each for a return bus fare to and from the hotel which wasn't mentioned anywhere on the site. Also, one of the water jets in the hydrotherapy pool wasn't working, and it was almost impossible to work out when the salt room was active which is a shame as it was one of the things that drew me to the offer.
The relaxation room upstairs was lovely though and we very much enjoyed lounging up there with some herbal tea in our complimentary robes and slippers.
The spa was very small for the number of people there and there didn't seem to be anyone having treatments although we were told they were extremely busy and couldn't fit us in. We went for an afternoon tea whilst there which took over 45 mins to arrive (about 40 mins after the tea was served). The sandwiches were crusty, the cakes undercooked and we wasted lots of spa time.
