I visited Imagine spa on the 24th of septemptember with 5 of my friends and had a wonderful experience. On arrival we were greeted by friendly, smiley staff as we confirmed our booking, the receptionist then introduced us to our spa host (Victoria), who gave us a detailed tour of all the facilities and how to use everything. We were given herbal teas whilst we filled out the appropriate forms and chose what lunch we would like to have and exactly what time we wanted it for. When filling out the forms our host (Victoria) was on hand to help us choose what treatments would be best, as being a busy mum i dont have time to have such treatments and would have felt embarrassed choosing one on the spot. We were then taken to the changing rooms where our robes, towels and slippers where in lockers ready for us. The aroma steam room was out of order which was disappointing, but we recieved free day passes to come back and use the facilities again which i thought was a very nice touch. Staff were attentive asking us if we wanted water and also offering fresh towels. Our host came and notified us our treatments would be starting in 15 mins and we were taken to the relaxation are which was lovely, big comfy chairs and dimmed lighting and again given herbal teas. My therapist (Kayleigh) was polite and prompt and recieved a lovely facial and a massage, she was very knowledgeable and i also bought some new skincare products which i love and i have seen a real difference in my skin. When purchasing the products i recieved a 30 minute gift voucher for spending over £30 which again i thought was a lovely touch. After having our treatments we were then greeted by the host who asked us how our treatments were and what we liked about them and moved us to a seated area where our lunch had just arrived. Me and my friends could not believe how friendly and proffessional the service was i really felt like royalty through every step of the day, and i cannot wait to return and use my vouchers on another fabulous day. Job very well done....
The staff we're lovely and very helpful. All the equipment was new and of a very high standard. It's quite a small spa area so, as it was busy, my partner and i unfortunately had to share a lounger for a while, which wasn't ideal. I must admit that my major disappointment was that there wasn't a pool big enough to be able to swim in and that the main pool that had all the jacuzzi elements as part of it, was too cold to sit in and relax for more than 5 mins... that was a real shame. Unfortunately at the time of my visit the steam room was broken, so was out of use. I definitely felt relaxed after my day but, because of the cold pool and broken steam-room, i can't really say that i had the most fulfilling of spa visits. But as it's a brand new spa, i could maybe put these down to teething problems.
A very nice atmosphere here. You are made to feel special when you arrive at the Hilton by the lovely doorman and his welcoming demeanor. The therapists are lovely, the treatments (hot stone massage) were amazing, the manageress is visible, checking you have everything you need. The only criticism is that at the moment there is no water available to help yourself to, the girls come around occasionally and offer water but I think this should have been a priority before opening (apparently they have everything ready to install). I took a friend and enjoyed it so much that when I was due to meet up with another old friend this week I suggested we go there! So I did it all again, FAB! We really enjoyed it
Spa facilities are amazing. Love their relaxation area. Unfortuantely they got a few things wrong, when arrived asked to fill out ususal health form, therapist took no notice of information within when treatments took place. They also got bookings mixed up - took me and friend to double treatment room, when I had specfied in booking wanted single treatment rooms, that was no trouble to change. Further booking mixup - had booked a 60 min pedicure, but they had it down as 30 mins, which they couldn't change, so they offered a complimentary 15 min facial boost, which we accepted but no effort put into it! When I spoke to the Manager she was extremely apologetic and offered us discount for our next visit. If you were having lunch as part of your package, think again, as you would have to eat with plate on your lap, there is currently no seperate dining area, they have plenty of space in which they could add a few tables. There's bound to be hiccups as it has only been open 2 weeks. Despite all the above it was a lovely day, thoroughly enjoyed by both me and friend, would definately recommend and visit again.
