I regularly get eyelash extensions, but I was staying over at a friend’s and needed to get my eyelashes done. There were solid 5 star reviews so I didn’t think anything could go wrong really. I was going on holiday two days later so I thought I got lucky because there were no reviews that had one star at all!
I got double volume, which I believe was just hybrid. 2d and individual together. Ira was so lovely and welcoming. Maybe she just had an off day but this was the only time I’ve had an issue with my lash extensions.
Just initially looking at them, they looked really thick, I couldn’t work out why. Within the first two days, the lashes were digging into my eyes and irritating them. I had to scratch and pull the inner corners out because it was so sharp. Every time I blinked, I could feel them pull.
I couldn’t go back because I was catching a flight that night to go abroad. But when my natural lashes started falling out, I could see 4 5 lashes stuck to one lash. They weren’t fanned out, they were just clumps. Also, when I was itching my eyes because of the irritation, I could feel some of my natural lashes come out, but they were stuck to the glue from other lashes so they were stuck there until the rest fell out.
Ira was lovely, but the lashes unfortunately wasn’t.
