Beware! Horrendous experience!!
I had my hair permed and ruined by Kim. The whole experience has been very traumatic and expensive. At the beginning of the appointment we spent much time discussing how my perm should look - soft, loose modern curls not tight 80s spirals. We looked at pictures and Kim showed me the picture she thought looked most how my hair would look (she later told me this look was created with curling tongs, which she tried to use against me!). I said my motivation for the perm was so I could let my hair air dry and not have to spend ages curling my hair with tongs each morning any more. At the end of the appointment I was very nervous about the tight curls I now had, but Kim assured me it would look very different once washed in a couple of days and with styling. I waited the recommended two days before washing it and was horrified to find I still had very tight curls and also my hair was now in terrible, broken, frizzy, damaged condition. I contacted Kim and she still assured me it would drop into the loose curls, but obviously this was not the case as time does not change the size and shape of the curls. She also said I could change it to how I wanted with styling, but my point was to get away from so much styling time. Kim invited me back to the salon for a conditioning treatment and styling advice, but I declined as I had no faith in Kim if she couldn’t see that these tight curls were not acceptable, and I just wanted a refund. After much stressful and time consuming emailing with Kim, and having to get Treatwell involved, I finally received a half refund. This was not acceptable as I had also spent a lot of money on products to try to help repair my damaged hair. When Kim would only give a part refund I tried to accept her offer to come to the salon for a treatment, but she withdrew this offer and stopped responding to me. I have been left out of pocket with an awful perm and severely damaged hair which will take much more time and money to put to rights. Kim’s service and aftercare is absolutely horrendous and I recommend everyone stays well clear!

Kim did such a great job. At the beginning she talked through what I was after and made sure I was always happy. Really fabulous hair cut . Thanks Kim!
