I'm so disappointed and upset. I went in for a cut and blowdry, the woman treating me was very rough from the outset. She had fake nails which kept scratching me. She didn't brush my hair before washing it so obviously after the wash it was quite tangles and she decided to use a comb to brush through the whole thing (not pleasant).
I specifically said I like my hair long and want to keep it that way, I asked for just the split ends to be trimmed but to keep the length. I'm so upset, the stylist cut off a good 3 inches and completely restyled it, adding a ton of layers which I didn't want or ask for. The layered parts of my hair are another inch or so shorter than the rest. When it came to blowdrying, she didn't ask how I wanted it, she just went ahead and started blowdrying.
I felt too uncomfortable at the end to say how I felt and was actually holding back tears, I know it's only hair and it'll grow back but I don't feel confident at all. This is the shortest my hair has ever been and I don't know what to do with it, all my go to looks don't work anymore.
If you go here be extremely specific and clear with what you want and stop them if you feel anything isn't right.

I felt at ease as soon as I walked in was a little anxious before as it was my first time visiting the salon. Molly cut my hair and did so perfectly my hair was very long and thick so gets tangled and knotty very easily however she was very patient and battled through. I will definitely be visiting again and have already recommended to a friend!
