I walked in and wasn't greeted whilst the owner was cutting hair in a chair near the door. Although I arrived before my booking I could tell the man and child waiting would get seen before I would. I waited for the haircut to finish (about 5 minutes after my appointment) but was not addressed, so upon realising I would miss work if I waited for the two (I assume) walk-ins to be seen to, I would miss work.
I could have obviously spoke up and addressed the situation, but I didn't want to cause a scene, especially if walk ins have been waiting it would look bad someone waltzing in and being seen before them - alas that is the point of a reservation though.. Then again if I was just greeted and asked if had an appointment when I walked in it would have nipped the situation in the bud.
It's a shame because I have had two great haircuts here and although the experience was a bit iffy once; I went back. Now i'm not sure if I will bother when there is so much choice in the city centre.
Went in a little uncertain about which hair cut i was going to get but after talking to the staff member i was reassured. During the haircut, had quite and interesting conversation with the hairdresser, which made the whole experience even better - in fact it was so welcoming that i didnt even realise how much time went by
