Jackie has been doing my hair for about 25 years – I can’t imagine anyone else doing it. She has kept me looking young and smart!
As well as excellent skills in cutting, colouring and styling, she is a lovely person to deal with. The Clapham venue is very convenient - I visit it on the way into London.
First time I visited GNJ was an off chance visit , living around Clapham and Lavender Hill there is several places to get your hair cut .... an abundance of salons ... I wanted a hair cut for as I was going to a wedding that weekend , first thing that struck me about GNJ was that it wasn’t just a woman’s hairdressers but had that look of a barbers too ... as soon your though the door Jackie was so helpful and inviting .... the place is relaxing and the service was amazing. I’ve had the same cut as a man for the last five years and next thing I’m coming away with a up to date cut that doesn’t make me look like a bloke trying to stay in his 20’s but just up to date and feeling great .... nose and eyebrows done without asking , ears as also I’m at the age where all that seems to grow just as quick as my own head of hair .I personally come away feeling dead good and ready to hit the road for a night out or whatever is happening in my life
I’ve been back now for over a year and feel like I’m visiting friends and family ... teas and a beers on offer ... nothing is to much for this team
