So if you are looking for a pristine hair dressers which offer you coffee and are gorgeously layed out then this isnt for you. This is essentially a babour shop with hair dressers included. It is a tad dingey and not it the most beautiful area. Now that's the negative out the way.
I arrived early to have Monica cut my hair, she saw me straight away meaning I was in and out in half the time. She chatted just the right amount for me (I dont like to chat while having my hair washed..) Anyway, when onto the cut she asked what I was looking for, gave good advice and every drastic cut she double checked with me to make sure I was 100% sure to commit. I am not someone who tends to give away my feelings half way through a hair cut (unless it's bad) but it was great, she asked each time she did something so as not to go ahead and lob a chunck of my hair off. She had a laugh and a joke with me about my hair state, but only when I mentioned it. She was very polite, friendly, efficent and professional. Monica is a hidden gem here and I will 100% be going back. Location aside, it's difficult to find a good hairdresser and as you all know, when you do, you go no matter what.
Very good service with hair colour and blow dry. Salon needs a lick of paint and freshening up but will return.
Really good experience! Booked 15 mn before my appointment- was a really fast blow dry that came out wonderfully! Yet my hair is pretty difficult as Im mixed race. I then proceeded to the Beauty Salon upstairs for a wax (with no appoitment and they made the time for me...) Basically I got fully "tamed" in about an hour! Great prices. No complaints.
I had a blow-dry and the hairdresser didn't even bother in finishing straightening my hair. She was nice, but definitely not happy with the final result.
Good location from my work in Aldgate. Shop is quite dated but same as all shops on that small stretch. It was clean and pleasant. The staff were friendly and spot on for a last minute wash and blow dry. Would use again as such good value for money so near to the City centre.
