I booked a shellac manicure because of a special event over the weekend - my therapist was lovely and we had a nice chat while she did an excellent job on my hands. The salon isn't much, but staff were lovely and I would go back.
Haircut was ok, and happy with the result. But... Appointment was late and I was never even offered a glass of water, no one really talked to me at all or asked what I wanted done, and the hairdresser didn't care in the slightest that she was causing me pain by yanking knots out with the brush. Wouldn't bother to return.
The beauty facilities are separated from the hair dressing by being on a different floor so it's nice to have that sense of privacy. The staff were friendly and very good at their job - the waxing wasn't nearly as painful as I've had at other places. The only downside (and it's a small one) is that they don't accept card - there is a cash machine across the street so I'd keep this in mind and either pay through wahanda or nip to the machine before hand.
A great little salon, a great set of highlights and great value for money. A really nice experience. Only comment would be that the staff didn't talk much or discuss colours with me so I ended up slightly darker than I would have chosenBut it looks great and I'm happy with it so not a buggy at all.Was offered magazines and a cup of tea.
