Hi! I am James. Iv been hairdressing since I was 14 in salons, I am now 36 years old. I started of as a Saturday boy shampooing. I am Vidal Sassoon trained. Iv worked in three of Edinburgh’s top salons, went into management the age of 23. I owned my own salon abroad at the age of 25 and moved back to the uk to open up my own Aveda salon pre covid. As as salon owner I was the ambassador for brands like “Kevin Murphy” and “Aveda” I love working with products that have good ethos and are eco friendly and great for the hair. I am new back to Edinburgh and establishing my self here to open a new salon of my own. I love all aspects of colour to compliment a great cut, I’d say cutting is my passion but colouring can compliment a great cut. They call me a textured / curly hair specialist as well as short hair specialist. I call it a passion for all of my Hairdressing!
