The haircut I asked for was nothing like the picture I shown and I could only have a full head of highlights due to not having a skin test, my daughter is my greatest critic and she said the colour had aged me 10 years saying and I looked liked Camilla Parker Bowles, I was so disappointed with the outcome, luckily I was able to get in with my usual hairdresser today and it’s now sorted, pity I wasted £154 - never again!

Nearest public transport: Centrally located on bustling John Dalton Street, James & Peter is less than a 9-minute walk across the river from Salford Central station.

The team: Highly Professional and very experienced. The team will give a personalised consultation with expert aftercare advice to help you maintain your new cut, colour or style dry at home.

What we like about the venue: Atmosphere: Established in 1996 this modern salon is housed within an old bank building, retaining many of the original ornate features. Spread over five floors, the main space is open, friendly and bathed in natural light. Specialises in: Cuts and Colouring. The extra touches: Tea or coffee provided along with a free consultation and aftercare advice.
