I had been told about the goggles to protect your eyes during treatment, and the cold air blowing over that area. The only tiny surprise was the smell of burning hair at the end, and then it was over - much quicker than I had expected. There was no redness, no soreness afterwards (you just feel little pricks during treatment). You are given aloe Vera gel to apply to the area after the laser. It didn't bother me having to arrive in Manchester with a nude face, but if it would bother you then it's worth discussing with the therapists, how you could deal with that. I found it an easy place to reach, discreet access as it's the 3rd floor. Toilet facilities too. I walked in from Deansgate, or you can get to it from Manchester Town Hall end. I would only add that you need 6 treatments in all, with 4 weeks between. It's not a quick fix, more of a permanent decision. Look for Groupon or Woucher deals!
