This is now my second visit to the hair and beauty bar and it really is a hidden gem in Finchley! Joanne and her team are lovely and welcoming..cups of tea are served with choccie biscuits and more importantly I’ve left both times with a great cut and colour with exactly what Ive requested!
I’ve been to a lot of different hairdressers in my time round London and I’m so happy to have found this great salon down the road from me. Thanks again!!!

I was anxious going to the Hair and Beauty bar as I have only had one hairdresser in the last 10 years but as I have recently moved to Barnet I needed to find a local hairdresser. Laura was AMAZING she transformed my hair! It is now so healthy she chopped 6 inches off and it looks and feels gorgeous- I am so pleased I took the risk- I will definitely go back!
Ladies' Haircuts
I needed a quick blow dry & just happened upon the Hair & Beauty Bar via Treatwell, what a lovely little haven. Jo was so welcoming (with tea and a great choice of choccies). I had a lovely hair wash, with beautifully smelling shampoos followed by the perfect bouncy blow dry. Suffice to say I won’t be going anywhere else again, in fact even booked in to have my colour done! I think this will forever more be my regular salon. Thank u Hair & Beauty Bar, just what I was looking for!

What a nightmare. I booked a haircut to trim a blunt bob, thinking it would be a simple thing to do. I explained what I wanted but I don’t know what happened as I ended up with a super short back and two different layers on the sides. My fringe was very uneven and a strange shape. The haircut was something similar to what my 75 year-old aunty would ask for. I didn’t realise it was that bad until I got home and washed my hair. I had to go back to the salon to try and fix it somehow. The manager tried to patch up the terrible haircut, but there wasn’t much she could do as it was so short. I’m sure it wasn’t a particularly enjoyable experience to any of us but an apology would have been nice. Definitely not going back and will advise my local friends to avoid the salon too.
