I went for my first Hollywood wax and so had little to no expectation of what would occur. The treatment was painful but once I got home I was really shocked at what had occurred. The skin was cut and bleeding in one sensitive area and I raised bumps and bruising. It was so tender and sore to touch for days after. There was also a lot of hair that had been missed. I’m not sure if that’s the experience with all waxes, but it has definitely put me off having another one!
