I had a really lovely time here. the stylist was just amazing. It is was beautifully decorated, sparkling clean and very relaxing. Will definitely return here for another hair cut
I was extremely embarrassed to have badly damaged my shoulder length hair trying to go from red to blonde. I've had several bad experiences with hairdressers so I'd scoured loads of reviews on websites before taking the plunge at Kai Ko's, with the voucher through Wahanda for a cut, blow dry and Keratin treatment.
I was terribly nervous when I arrived as I knew my hair would have to be cut very short to get any sort of condition back but, having never had short hair, I just couldn't imagine what I'd look like.
My stylist was Ross. He;s very professional and friendly, (without being overly so), and made sense of my nervously gabbled vague descriptions of how I'd minced my hair, while I shamefully removed the cap I'd worn for about a month. He listened patiently, without judgement, and for the rest of the appointment, kept me informed on what he was going to doing regarding my treatment, then how much he was cutting off during the most nail biting part and gave good advice on how to go about rescuing my hair without any oversell of products. When I left the salon I could not stop smiling or touching my hair. After so much trepidation was thrilled with the results. I'm about to go for my third six weekly appointment at Kai Ko's. My hair is so much healthier and I've had lots of compliments about it but I'm especially chuffed as I can style it as a sculpted bob or tuck hair behind my ears for more of a pixie look.
(By the way, someone on a previous review made a negative comment about the manager of this salon? She only popped over to make sure I was happy with the temperature during my treatment but due to that review I couldn't help noticing her manner with her staff and other customers and I'd have to say my stylists positive people skills may have something to do with her bright and professional manner).

So, if you're reading these reviews, like I was 3 months ago, and wavering a little, don't. Just book an appointment with these guys I am sure you won't regret it. I just can't recommend this place highly enough.
Very good experience overall and excellent value for money. I will definately return. Therapist was patient and professional at all times, explaining and discussing with me the treatment to ensure I got what I wanted. Lovely gentle music playing in background to create a perfect ambience conducive to relaxation .
the facials here are good but quite expensive. I haden't heard of the products they use here before but they definitely left me with glowing skin that family really noticed

i had a colour consultation here and the hair dresser was very knowledgeable with great advice on what I could do to lift the current colour out of my hair.
