I'm sad to say my recent experience at 106 was not good. I've been here before as a full price customer (the normal price for wash, cut and blow dry is £65) and the experience as a discounted Treatwell customer is very different. My hairdresser arrived more than 10 minutes late for the appointment. I was handed a gown to put on myself. We went straight through to the basins to wash my hair, skipping any consultation entirely. My hair was tied up when I arrived, so it was not possible for the hairdresser to see my hair beforehand. I wasn't offered a tea or coffee. The hair washing was rushed, with no normal head massage and water being splashed in my face (when I asked her to be more careful it was met with no acknowledgement nor apology, which I found strange). Within 20 minutes the hairdresser had completed the wash and cut, it was very rushed. The hair dresser was so rushed that she dropped brushes on the floor several times, dropped a hair dryer into my face and dropped my sunglasses on the floor. When it came to my fringe she cut it a cm above my eyebrows when I'd asked for it to be on my eyebrows (anyone who has a fringe will feel my pain). I decided to speak up and say something about how rushed the experience was and the lack of concern for giving me the haircut I wanted, only to be met with confrontation and accusations. The hairdresser accused me of being unhappy from the moment I came into the salon (for which she wasn't even there), denied being more than 5 minutes late and said I had requested a trim hence no need for a consultation. All in all it was a really strange experience. It felt a bit like I imagine haircuts to be in the military. She did make a comment about the price reduction on Treatwell and how some customers even complain that this Treatwell price is too high. I felt like a second class citizen booking this salon through Treatwell and will sadly not be returning.
Kamil was amazing and one of the best blow outs I have had - three days ( & two work out classes later) , it still looks good!
Will definitely be going back!
I'm a huge fan of 106 beauty but unfortunately Treatwell had double booked my appointment so although I've given them 5 stars based on previous visits, I didn't actually get to attend this visit.
