Very pleasant experience and faultless men's haircut

Welcoming atmosphere friendly staff who took an interest. My hair colour looked great. It was very shiny and the styling made it look longer after being cut. The let down was the blow dry at the end. Thankfully it didnt hurt as it has in other places they were gentle but this kind of volumised hair really doesnt suit me and my lifestyle. It was bouncing about so much when I walk back that I had to tie it back and was concerned people were staring at me. It also hasnt washed out and fully returned to my natural curl even after scrunch drying with curl enhancer in the air (I don't own a hairdryer). For other people this strong hold styling might be a good thing, personally I dont want a 'hair do', just my own hair coloured and maintained and if possible off my face rather than sticking out. This is best achieved with minimal if any blow drying. So really friendly people great colour, OK cut but too much blow drying and styling which is not suitable for fine naturally curly hair.

Being the main carer for my elderly, frail mum-in-law, I don’t really get the chance for any me-time! Needed a makeover, as going out with hubby for a treat the following week. I entered the salon looking old, tired & forlorn. Yet I walked out of there feeling like a million dollars. I was spoilt rotten by the fantastic staff & would definitely recommend this salon (even though I live in SE London).
It is easy to get to - as long as you bear in mind it’s to the right of Norland Square & set on the corner. Plus the awnings read HD, but the actual salon name is alongside the door, as you get nearer to it. There is a funky mannequin in the window (multi-coloured) - just in case you miss the salon! This is bright & airy, with the owner (Tony) being a whizz with the scissors. Plus he is extremely knowledgeable over hair colouring. He is assisted by the very capable Haydir & Louisa, who does a great hand massage, as well as the fabulous head massage during the shampoo/conditioner stage. I did plump for the extra Olaplex treatment, which was well worth the cost - my hair is so soft & shiny! Haydir & Tony did my blow-dry together - I’ve never had so much attention from, not one, but two lovely guys!!
Tony took on the salon about 18 months ago & is an asset to the local area - tidying up small kids for the new school term or spoiling mums, else coping with taciturn teenagers (all witnessed during my appointment - which came with delicious fresh coffee).
I really love the way that all three of them work together (& it was so interesting to find out more about the lovely, friendly staff).
There is also a loyalty scheme, which I have joined.
Go on & treat yourself, you won’t be disappointed!
