I visited Kara's for a blow dry and strip lashes. I was very happy with my blow dry and although my hair is fine and does not normally hold a style well - it did last the entire night. My strip lashes were not so fortunate though and by the time I had walked 5 minutes to the cocktail bar around the corner both eyes were already coming away at the edges. I did not take eyelash glue with me as I do not normally have any issues when my lashes are applied professionally and so I had to take them off almost as soon as they had been applied. Mixed bag really, but I will try here again for my blow dry as I was so happy, but get my lashes done at a make up counter.
The blow dry was great and quick. I went for the Manhattan with pins and if you want the curls to stay then this is perfect. A free glass is a bonus. The makeup artist did smokey guys amazing but not great on the contouring and she didn’t really give my skin a flawless finish.
