Tucked away diagonally opposite the Round House and only a few minutes' walk from Chalk Farm is an exceptional stylist: Karen at Karalu. I'm abandoning my overpriced West End salon and coming here in future. Karen is one of those rare artists who listens to you. She 'got' my difficult, fine hair on the first appointment, and the colour was just as I'd wanted.
