This is a very much a polish hairdressers. The owner can clearly speak good English, but some of the staff cannot. It was an average blow dry, I still had to touch it up slightly when I got home, but I find that happens about 50% of the time wherever you go...... Apart from not speaking much English, the staff are polite though and the place is clean.
The therapist was great... we engaged in conversation easily which help ease the pain... On down side was that I have booked for 10 and happened 10minutes later as they were still setting up...
I went in to get my ends trimmed, it's the simplest cut and the girl who seemed inexperienced cut my hair wrong. It seemed like there was a language barrier as another hairdresser had to tell her what I wanted. She also straightened it within an inch of it's life, which is annoying as my hair is already dry and she didn't even use any kind of protection spray or even water!
The reception I got when entering the salon wasn't stellar either, everyone just stared at me and no one greeted me.
Very disappointed as this salon seems to have loads of good reviews. Perhaps it's better if you are a polish speaker.
